Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is part of Circle K's Global Finance organization and is responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations.

Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a team player who will join our team as:

Fuel Accountant for Stock and Deal Control Team

About you:

You are analytical and you like to interact with people from various cultures, inside and outside the organization. You cope well with changes and you are always on the look out for improvement of processes. You are used to a high pace work environment and you are solution oriented in stressful situations. You are well organized with an eye for details.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Secure, control and follow up the fuel stock accounting;

• Identify, analyze and investigate differences connected to the fuel stock (terminal stock control, fuel ownership control);

• Implement and maintain fuel supply contracts in EPR systems;

• Perform data analysis, develop and maintain fuel volume control processes;

• Set-up and maintain files/records associated with monitoring, record keeping functions;

• Interact with Business Unit operations, technical services and other staff as necessary to obtain information required;

• Take part in operational projects and process improvement initiatives, participate in process and system testing.

You will work in close collaboration with:

•      Supply Operations;

•      Finance & Control;

•      External suppliers and partners.

Main requirements:

• Higher educational level in Business Administration, Accounting or related field;

• At least 2 years of experience within accounting, finance or stock control;

• Fluency in English is a must as you will be in daily contact with internal and external stakeholders in all our markets;

• Advanced skills in Excel and regular Office tools;

• Knowledge of accounting systems and/or knowledge from a trading system is an advantage;

• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex issues/problem;

• Improvement driven and good team player.
