Description

JOB PURPOSE The Senior Manager, ITSS, Special Projects is charged with overseeing and managing projects as directed by the CIO. Typical projects may include surge support for customers, event support, VIP support, out-of-cycle implementations, etc. This position will work with customers and ITSS staff to ensure successful completion of projects or handoff to appropriate parties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate resources and tasks needed for successful completion of identified projects
  • Coordinate with third party service services and vendors as necessary
  • Provide status updates and regular communication to stakeholders
  • Escalate issues that impact project scope, timeline, or quality to relevant parties
  • Provide post-mortem reporting for continuous improvement
  • Act as a technology liaison for customers and vendors

  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution. Preferred degree majors include computer science, management information systems, business or personnel administration, or a related field.
  2. 7+ years of K-12 specific school IT experience
  3. Proficiency in common business software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  4. Understanding networking, hardware, software, and services requirements to support
  5. remote locations.
  6. Travel within and outside the State as the job dictates.
  7. Commitment to company values.
  8. Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics listed below are representative of the environment the employee will encounter:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • No physical exertion required.
  • You are required to sit for long periods.
  • Travel within or outside of state.
  • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA.

 

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

 

EVALUATION

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Charter Schools USA's policy.
