Summary
Manages the day to day operations of Cache Creek Casino Resort's restaurants as assigned. Insure a high quality of dining experience for all guests through continuous training of service staff and open communication with all support departments. Identify areas of opportunity to improve work flow, guest service and communicate those areas to the outlet manager and the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner, and practice the R.I.C.H. philosophy.
- Manage all administrative duties in assigned revenue center to include: scheduling of staff, performance reviews, attendance, coaching and counseling.
- Maintain open communication with all support departments and restaurant managers.
- Manage daily operations of assigned restaurant.
- Maintain accurate inventories of all equipment and Food & Beverage products.
- Master Eatec requisitioning system.
- Master the Micros point of ale system.
- Master programming of Micros point of sale system.
- Master operation of Table Management system.
- Maintain all Manager/Assistant Manager administrative duties associated with the financial performance of the assigned outlet.
- Manage multiple revenue centers at any given time.
- Work a variety of shifts, hours and days of the week without restrictions.
- Assist training of Managers and Assistant Managers.
- Perform beverage and food inventories as assigned.
- Work with training manager to ensure training, standards, and certifications are to standard.
- Assist restaurant managers training of staff on all sequence of service standards.
- Perform table visitations with guests.
- Attend scheduled meetings.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise a total of 10-14 employees in the assigned restaurant. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the assigned revenue center. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications

Experience and/or Education
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school. Three to Five years of Restaurant Manager experience in a high volume al la carte restaurants as Manager or Maitre D'. Strong wine and spirits knowledge is a must. Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Serve Safe and “TIPS” Alcohol Awareness Certificate.
