SUMMARY
Manages and directs personnel and day-to-day operations of Cage and Credit during assigned shifts. Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork within the department and across other departments. Safeguards company assets while maintain efficient and courteous interactions with the public. Maintains full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including federal laws governing monetary transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs banking activities and ensures the security of company assets.
- Performs review of credit information for credit extension approval and for the approval of Credit Committee
- Ensures proper supervision of all cage personnel, activities, and records necessary to affect an accurate and orderly operation.
- Assists the Cage and Credit Manager in training, coaching and evaluating of Cage personnel.
- Assists with schedules, timesheet changes, and time off request approvals.
- Delivers outstanding guest service, resolves disputes with professionalism and courtesy, and ensures guest satisfaction.
- Establishes and recommends procedure changes that ensure proper accountability for gaming guests.
- Ensures compliance with all gaming regulations, applicable laws and any other governmental agencies where applicable.
- Evaluates and counsels as needed, direct reports and other employees to maintain and enhance operations of the Cage.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all internal operations and sensitive information.
- Upholds and promotes the mission and core values of Cache Creek Casino Resort.
- Occasionally assists , with bank or window duties as needed to support shift operations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages three subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Cage department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Cage operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years' experience as a Cage Cashier with experience in all levels of the cage operation required.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
