Job Description

Payment Alliance International is looking to hire a Field Support Technician who is prepared to travel extensively with in the United States of America. This position includes working in all aspects of ATM operations, programing, assembly, repair, cash loading and installation.  The individual will need to be highly motivated, detail oriented, and have experience in one or more areas ATM service and/or cash operations. The person will operate in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment and they must be passionate, accepting of a changing environment and constantly looking to influence the future outlook of the company. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Make on-site visits to locations to diagnose, repair, or install ATM equipment 
  • Program ATM's unassisted or with assistance from Technical Support 
  • Install, repair or replace ATM signage in customer locations 
  • Support VTS Branches with cash loading ATMs 
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures associated with carrying / transporting cash 
  • Evaluate and ensure the location is secure before exiting the armored vehicle 
  • Make on-site visits to locations to load ATMs with appropriate amount of cash 
  • Engage with the customer to ensure high levels of customer service 
  • Document activities within the PAI system 
  • Guard and protect the assets of the employer 
  • Other field and service work as required 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED required 
  • At least 6 months experience in electronic or mechanical repair; ATM experience highly preferred
  • 21 years of age minimum
  • Compliance with all local and state firearm laws and either has obtained or capable of obtaining any necessary local or State carry license or permit
  • Carry an approved firearm while performing the duties of a ATM Cash Loader
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner 
  • The ability to work away from home for extended periods of time including weekends. 
  • Ability and desire to travel extensively.  Travel expectations are 95% or higher.
  • Clean driving record and a valid driver's license for the state where you live 
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality relating to sensitive information 
  • Must be willing to work some overtime, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays if needed 
  • Willingness to work alone 

COMPUTER / APPLICATIONS SKILLS:

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Suite to include Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to use a mobile device for reporting activity during the day
  • Working knowledge of PAI Reports a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This work is performed on the road at different locations. The working environment can be distracting due to noise. Constant moving up/down/around the job site area. Must have the ability to bend, reach over your head and to individually lift or move up to 250 lbs. assisted with a hand-dolly.  Must be able to see, hear, speak and listen.  Must be an excellent listener.  Continuous communication with ATM Dispatch.  Daily contact with management and co-workers.  Work can be stressful and requires a calm, patient demeanor.

SUPERVISORY / MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

The employee is not responsible for supervising other positions.

A combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. Successful performance on pre-employment tests may be required.  Position requires successfully passing a drug test prior to hire and upon any accident / incident or discharge of firearm while on duty.
