We arelooking for a Global Pricing Senior Manager

The Global Pricing Senior Manager will act as a trusted pricing expert to internal stakeholders, working collaboratively with colleagues from sales, marketing, product, operations, and finance teams to develop transformative approaches and deliver complex and challenge pricing projects. Pricing actions will be guided by company strategy and global pricing strategy.

The Manager will work closely with regional and local leadership teams to develop and successfully implement pricing strategies to improve pricing effectiveness, customer mix, competitive positioning, and total profitability.

The position reports to the Vice President of Global Pricing and sits in the global finance organization of the company.

This role can sit in any of our hub locations globally.

The role contributes to building a best-in-class organization in the following areas:

  • Leading efforts to build a culture of strategic price management, including ongoing price monitoring, margin enhancement, and informed decision-making
  • Guiding & supporting regional and country teams with pricing actions to develop roadmap of work to deliver improved short-term and long-term price yields
  • Contributing to a view of pricing excellence and maturity, where we stand on that spectrum, and the actions to drive toward excellence
  • Support emerging solutions, including digital retail solutions and ATM managed services, with the implementation of innovative pricing strategies
  • Developing best practices for pricing processes, tools, and technologies, including but not limited to modelling, risk analysis, price monitoring & measurement, analytics, governance, and systems

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Play a key role in the development of global pricing strategies and work with local teams to integrate strategies into broader business planning
  • Support the roll-out and adoption of the pricing maturity framework globally, ensuring local countries are engaged and making progress in priority areas to improve overall global maturity scores
  • Enable timely, accurate, and insightful use of data to create and measure key metrics on price and profitability on an ongoing basis and determine appropriate pricing actions for improved performance
  • Lead the development and implementation of pricing tools and systems, collaborating across the product, finance, data, and leadership teams to continuously refine and automate pricing processes
  • Develop and manage the documentation of Global Pricing Guidance on methodologies, parameters, and procedures. Lead the implementation of GPG into local markets and make recommendations to enhance GPG policies
  • Drive transformational pricing initiatives by effectively communicating the vision for change, aligning teams toward common objectives, and providing support throughout the project for successful implementation and adoption
  • Support all aspects of pricing strategy development and planning, including managing annual planning processes globally, pricing strategy for new product launches, pricing positioning, conducting competitive analyses, portfolio analyses and leading relevant ad hoc deep dives and analyses
  • Provide support to deal teams throughout the sales cycle in analyzing and making recommendations regarding deal-specific financial strategies and solutions
  • Work closely with VP Global Pricing and regional and country leaders to set pricing priorities, informed by performance and business strategy  

EXPERIENCE

  • More than 6 years' experience in a relevant pricing role, focus on strategic pricing or price modeling required
  • Previous experience in capturing significant profitability gains via price required
  • Track record of successful project delivery and/or transformational initiatives, resolving complex problems with well-structured analysis
  • Experience working successfully within a global matrix organization, effectively influencing cross-functionally, across divisions, across cultures, and at various levels of management
  • Strong people leader, adept at managing team's work while developing capabilities and building a positive and productive team culture
  • Experience in presenting to senior-level executives in a results-oriented culture

SKILLS

  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Ability to utilize pricing optimization software and data visualization tools to enable pricing success & communication of core pricing intelligence.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and credibly, with particular focus on effective storytelling and logical presentation to share insights in a way that motivates stakeholders to action
  • Strong core process & project management skills, including meeting & workshop management, deck writing, structured reasoning, time management, and change management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and data analytics
  • R, SQL, statistical packages, and business intelligence packages an advantage
