OB/GYN

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a full time OBGYN to join our practice at one of the busiest hospitals in Richmond, Virginia. Richmond OBGYN at SFMC (St. Francis Medical Center) is an AIUM accredited, state of the art facility with 24 large exam rooms and on-site Ultrasound and Mammography services. Physicians are offered a large umbrella of support from our three other OB/GYN practices and a team of 12 MD's and 4 Certified Nurse Midwifes.

Snapshot of the practice and role:

1. Seven provider practice
2. Practice desires a mix of experienced practitioners and new grads
3. Candidate will ideally work Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm
4. Call is 1:7
5. Full time OBGYN Hospitalists in house 24/7 to assist with call coverage and cover unreferred patients
6. In house Neonatologist with Level 3 NICU at both St. Francis and St. Mary's
7. Full time Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gyn Oncology and Anesthesia coverage available
8. Patient base is adolescence and adult women
9. Potential outreach opportunities
10. Expectations are to see 25 – 35 patients per day, deliver 10-15 babies a month and perform around 5 surgeries a month
11. Large referral source in the area. Bon Secours has the largest group of employed physicians and APC's in Central Virginia
