Description

The Benefits Analyst is responsible for the administration of benefits and retirement programs at Bob's Discount Furniture. This fast-paced role requires high attention to detail, time management, and strong communication skills. The analyst serves as a key member of the Benefits team, working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of benefit services and communications.

Core Competencies & Expertise

  • 2–3 years of experience in benefits administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Knowledge of benefits-related laws (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Competencies & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of direct benefits experience
  • Familiarity with Workday or other HCMS platforms
  • Experience with ACA compliance
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local benefits regulations

  • 2–3 years' experience in benefits administration
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
