As a Senior Product Designer your primary responsibilities are to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative and visually appealing products. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with UX Leads, researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create exceptional user experiences and drive product success. Your role will involve transforming ideas and requirements into tangible designs, from initial sketches to final prototypes, while considering usability, aesthetics, and market trends.
We are converging our product experience to a new age experience; you will play a key role in helping us to achieve this. In this role, you'll be focusing on our IT Service Management suite of products and will have a great chance to add your own influence / mark. 

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
  • Develop and maintain a scalable design system for our Digital Service and Operations Management (DSOM) products. 
  • Create intuitive user experiences for complex applications. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape overall product strategy. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends for innovative design contributions. 
  • Communicate design concepts clearly, actively contribute to workshops, and engage in continuous improvement.
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 8+ years) working as a Product Designer or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or other relevant tools.
  • Strong visual and graphic design skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to create 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your creative design process, problem-solving skills, and showcasing your ability to create visually appealing and user-centered designs.


Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills: 
  • Master's degree in design or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools.
  • Enterprise software experience
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,800 - $208,000
