BMC is looking for a QA & Automation Engineer to join our team in Tel-Hai.
You will be an integrated part of a dynamic, fun, performance-driven agile team. The position is for an automation developer who will be responsible for defining, creating and executing tests for a distributed application.
The essential responsibilities of the automation developer are to conduct thorough manual and automation testing in order to provide the highest quality software products to our customers. Create, modify and execute component and E2E tests using various technologies, both manual & automation.

- Work as a member of a team delivering high quality deliverables during sprints.
- Define and document test scenarios based on user stories.
- Effectively interact with development teams and work together to deliver projects on time.
- Contribute towards team estimation and scheduling process.
- Work efficiently and with a high level of energy
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- Experience in automation testing on the server side.
- Experience writing complex tests using REST API
- Proficiency in Python or comparable language
- Hands-on experience with scripting language(s) such as bash & PowerShell
- Desire and ability to learn new skills and improve upon current skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, with both technical and non-technical team members
- Passion for technology
- Great sense of humor (We are fun team:) )
- A degree in software engineering, computer science, programming, or equivalent practical experience.
