What you'll do
The Registered Professional Nurse II Acute Care is accountable for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process. The RN assesses, plans, delivers, coordinates, integrates, and evaluates nursing care related to patients needs. The RN contributes to the support of patients through interdisciplinary teamwork.
What we need from you
Education:
2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing, required or...
Vocational / Technical Diploma Professional Nursing Program, required or...
4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
All RN's hired and do not currently hold a BSN will be expected to demonstrate enrollment in a bachelor's prepared nursing program within 4 years of hire. BSN must be completed within 10 years. RN's licensed on or before 12/19/17 are/remain exempt from this requirement
Experience:
- Minimum one year experience as an Registered Nurse, if experience is not relevant, Registered Nurse II must complete RN residency program, required
License/ Certification:
- Current NYS license as a Registered Nurse, required
- BLS certification will be required within 6 months
- Other certifications may be needed based on department requirements
Travel:
- Occasional Travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus up to:
