The Division of Cancer Medicine at Banner Gateway MD Anderson Cancer Center continues to experience rapid growth. As part of our strategic growth, our facility capacity has increased and we are recruiting Nurse Practitioners to provide in-patient coverage at the Banner Gateway Campus in Gilbert, AZ.
This is an Excellent Opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our existing SCT/Oncology Team. Qualified candidates are required to be board certified and are expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and multidisciplinary care to our cancer patients. Our APPs are active members of the Division and participate in clinical, research, and education services. These services are provided by Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) Providers at the Banner Gateway Medical Campus.
- Join an existing in-patient team of 8 APPs who help support 5 rotating Physicians
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience in Acute/Critical Care, Hospitalist or Oncology preferred
- Prior Stem Cell Therapy experience is a plus
- Multiple positions available including days, swing, and nights
- 10-12 hour shifts typical with multiple providers on service simultaneously
- Service provides 24/7 coverage
The program is highly integrated with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and provides ongoing opportunities for education and mentorship.
