The Banner MD Anderson Cancer Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program was founded in 2013. Starting with autologous stem cell transplants, the program then transitioned to include related donor allogeneic stem cell transplants in 2014. In 2017, we became accredited with the Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy for autologous, allogeneic and immune effector cell therapy.
Our world-renowned team provides compassionate care to the patient, their family and their support system. This program provides services for matched, mismatched related and unrelated donors, cord blood and haplo-identical transplants.

Join our Growing Team! As an Associate Director, RN, you will have the opportunity to support the daily operations of several of our Specialty clinics overseeing in person and hybrid teams. This will include Internal Medicine, Navigation, Social Work, Triage, Patient Education and Transitional Care Coordination at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, AZ.
The Associate Director, RN will be the primary point of contact for all clinical personnel involved in outpatient care. Team members within the scope of responsibilities include but are not limited to clinic RNs, medical assistants, and leadership personnel. This program is entering a maturing phase and as such the operational requirements for the role are increasing in complexity. Strong consideration would be granted to candidates who have demonstrated success project management, and have an innovative and transformational leadership style. The Associate Director, RN will be a liaison to physician/provider teams focused on mutual objectives and clinical process improvements.
Hours are Mon-Fri 8a-5pm, will require some weekend flexibility

(the Phoenix Metro area) on the Banner Gateway Campus, the center provides world-class care for oncology patients - both inpatient and outpatient - and has also brought leading oncology programs to the Banner Gateway campus including designation as a Stem Cell Transplant Center of Excellence and comprehensive Head & Neck cancer care. Our capabilities include five linear accelerator vaults, a brachytherapy vault, an advanced diagnostic imaging suite with PET/CT scan, more than 70 infusion bays, a cryopreservation lab and much more. Our inpatient medical oncology unit also incorporates a program that utilizes the electronic surveillance partnership in caring for the patient, where remote nurses have the ability to interact with patients via two-way audio-video to assist the bedside nurse with patient care.POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides managerial and clinical support to patients and staff.
