Ballad CVA Heart Institute is a nationally recognized organization that delivers comprehensive cardiovascular care for our region. We service all the major facilities in Ballad Health Systems and have multiple regional offices throughout northeast TN and southwest VA. Our forward-thinking organization consists of 50+ leading-edge physicians and 40+ APPs who specialize in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology including structural heart and peripheral vascular disease, electrophysiology and cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
The interventional cardiologist accepting this position will practice in one our flagship facilities in the Kingsport, Tennessee location and be amongst a very collaborative team of cardiologists, CT and vascular surgeons and a complete team of APPs. This is a Full-Time position, and we are the only CV group on site. An interest in peripheral vascular work would be plus. This is a very stable group that prioritizes high quality care, collegiality, and a family friendly environment. A robust research infrastructure is in place for interested candidates and the facility is involved in multiple national/international clinical trials. Qualified candidate will be based in clinic located in Kingsport, Tennessee and work at Holston Valley Medical Center Cath Lab, which is equipped with State-of-the-Art equipment. Holston Valley Medical Center is a 505-bed medical facility with well-known physicians and an expert team of caring staff, nurses, and technicians.

Practice Details:
- Holston Valley Medical Center performs more than 4,000 Cath lab and EP procedures annually including complex coronary work, TAVRs, MitraClip, Watchman, carotid and peripheral vascular cases, implantable pacemaker/AICD, and complex ablations.
- Philips Cath Labs with Advanced Cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic equipment such as: Laser, Volcano IVUS, Rotational atherectomy, Shockwave lithotripsy, CSI, Inari, EKOS, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and Impella
- 24/7 STEMI service, On-Site CHF clinic
- Continued Cardiac Market and Program Growth, Advanced CT with state-of-the-art cardiac imaging capabilities including FFR
