Job Description
BAE Systems in Kings Bay, GA is seeking an experienced, self-disciplined SCA Supply Technician who will be responsible for all aspects associated with SWSSW operations. Duties will include but are not limited to:

1) Manages and processes the issues, receipt, transaction posting, inventory and reporting for Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) owned Prime Contractor material in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program.

2) Responsible for the management of open requisition files through to the final issue.

3) Analyzes, conducts causative research and reconciles differences between inventory count and stock records.

4) Reviews stock records for items with service or shelf life to ensure their serviceability and directs action to extend shelf life when applicable or make adjustments for disposal to the government customer.

5) Processes required documents, requests, disposition for unserviceable/repairable/unlabeled items and assets in excess of the stocking objectives established in Navy ERP, manages the documentation processing from receipt through final storage point.

6) Prepares routine correspondence and reports to include monthly, weekly, and daily summary e-mails. Covering requisition status, MILSTRIP orders, referrals and special reports for both on and off station movements of SSP material.

7) Professionally and effectively communicates with others at all levels within and outside BAE SYSTEMS. Establishes priority and carries out assignments effectively to ensure quality work is completed in a timely manner.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience required: High School Diploma and at least two years of related/relevant work experience.

Additional skills/experience required:
- Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)
- Customer Service Support/Customer Oriented

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Navy ERP
- Requires a good working knowledge of the references relating to SSP Stock Point Operations
- A general understanding of supply regulations, policies and procedures of the department of the Navy
- Extensive reading comprehension skills and knowledge of logistical terminology
- Requires analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved
- Collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines

Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
