BAE systems is looking for NGDE administrators for the ESITE ISEO Opportunity. The Candidate will maintain smooth operations of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
This position is open in multiple locations. Work may be performed in Colorado Springs CO, Tampa FL, St Louis MO, Omaha NE, or Washington DC (Bolling AFB)

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Contractor require skills to analyze IT computers and related hardware/software in terms of feasibility and compatibility. The contractor shall assist Team members to define problems, design solutions, and test and implement software for the NGDE (Next Generation Desktop Environment) , UNIX and Windows infrastructure. The contractor shall monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system failures. The contractor shall review data such as volume, peak loads, and circuit capabilities. The contractor shall evaluate data to determine capacity and quality of service with a view toward improving the service provided. Must have Next Generation Desktop.
Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills in order to evaluate situations make recommendations and take prompt, effective corrective action. Demonstrate good planning skills by ensuring the appropriate scheduling of resources including equipment, and supplies. Demonstrate effectiveness in maintaining a well-organized operation to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the work and information flow; monitor procedures, and implement corrective actions as required.
Preferred Skills and Education
Security+, ITIL v3 experience and certification desired; Working knowledge of System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) would be an added advantage. Microsoft server certification
Good communications skills, both verbal and written required. Candidate must hold a current Security+, or greater, and be enrolled in the Continuing Education (CE) program through CompTIA in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M.
14+ Years with High School or 12+ Years with Associate's Degree or 10+ Years with Bachelor's Degree or 8+ Years with Master's Degree or 6+ Years with PhD.
