Job Description
The selected candidate's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Demonstrate that equipment/systems function in accordance with Stage 3 through Stage 7 test procedures.

- Troubleshoot equipment/system failures and repair associated equipment for shipboard Radio Communications System (RCS).

- Work with engineering department to develop test procedures for new and existing systems for AEGIS Systems Verification Testing.

- Work off-site for duties on various ship platforms.

- Coordinate with customers, ISEA, and various engineering entities to ensure proper integration, operation, maintenance and testing of naval radio communications systems on new and established baselines.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidate. Applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School diploma and 4-10 years of related experience

Technician background with Electronic Radio Communications Systems

Willingness to travel to shipyards and Naval bases

Experience with test equipment, testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting and equipment repair

Knowledge of test procedures, technical drawing packages, work instructions, wiring diagrams and cable run sheets

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Associate degree and 7 years of related experience

Prior US Navy Electronics Technician or Information Systems Technician

Experience with system testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting and equipment repair

Knowledge of test procedures, technical drawing packages, work instructions, wiring diagrams and cable run sheets

Knowledge of any of the following:
AN/USC-61 Digital Modular Radio (DMR) (VHF/UHF/SATCOM)

AN/USQ-144 Automated Digital Network System (ADNS) (CISCO Routers)

AN/USC-69 V3 Commercial Wideband Satellite Program (CBSP)

AN/WSC-9 V2 Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) (SHF/EHF)

KIV-7M and other various cryptographic equipment

AN/USQ-155 (V)2, V(3), V(4) Tactical Variant Switch (TVS)

AN/SRC-66 High Frequency Distribution Amplifier Group (HFDAG)

AN/USR-10B Global Broadcast Service (GBS)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
