Job Description
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

At BAE Systems, our Electronic Combat Solutions business meets the needs of our customers through the entire lifecycle of our Electronic Warfare (EW) products. From design and development, to prototype and full rate production, to post-delivery software and hardware product support, we deliver EW capability and readiness spanning the platform's operational service life.

As the dominant EW solutions provider to fifth gen fighter aircraft, our team in the Lifecycle Support Solutions (LCSS) product line is looking for an experienced program manager interested in the opportunity to drive creative solutions to F-35 and F-22 product support programs. The LCSS product line supports a wide range of efforts to include Software Sustainment, Field Upgrades, Depot Activation, Returns & Repairs Management, and customer Reprogramming Labs. Any of these efforts require a PM who can lead a multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed team through a program/contract lifecycle while effectively working with customers and internal stakeholders.

While PM experience is required, Sustainment / Product Support experience is desired but not required. This PM may be leading any phase of a program or programs, from baselining through execution, delivery and closeout. Skills related to organization, communication, risks and opportunities, etc. This requisition is not targeted for one unique position; it may be applicable to multiple LCSS opportunities in the near term.

In this job, you will:

  • Take responsibility for management and execution of a contract.
  • Prepare and/or review project execution plans and other documentation.
  • Be intimately involved in budget/financial planning and reporting.
  • Report status to product line and senior leadership.
  • Develop customer relationships with regular communication.
  • Drive program/contract success by delivering on our commitments in accordance with the expected behaviors, processes and guidance
  • Actively promote a culture of diversity, safety, health, and personal well-being for the program team.
  • Receive coaching and support by our experience program management staff.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Demonstrated program/project management skills or equivalent


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (strategic thinking, business acumen, supervisory experience, building teams, building customer relationships)
  • Familiarity with electronic warfare systems sustainment, depot repair and depot activation processes
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Significant experience with customer/stakeholder communication, management, relationship building, and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated mastery of Program Management, Life-Cycle Management and Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with higher level managers, functional managers, customers, industry partners, and teammates
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build and lead teams


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
