Job Description
The selected candidate will apply skills in design in order to develop and support a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The engineer, will acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills while performing their assigned responsibilities in complex design, internal research and development efforts, mentoring and product development on DoD projects.
Job Duties:
The duties assigned to this engineering position will include the following: Complex electrical circuit design and analysis, firmware development, technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting, and Cost Account Management. It will be expected that the candidate will have proficiency in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.
Other Responsibilities:
Prepare and present technical presentations to peers, senior leaders, and Customers. Support business development efforts. Generate ideas for potential proposals. Contributor to new proposals.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education:
Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Solid electrical engineering fundamentals
Experience with FPGA's and microprocessors
Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools
Experience with a laboratory environment and the ability to use test equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to mentor junior engineering talent
This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance.
The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements.
You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Designs, develops, tests radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products.
Some background in design, analysis, modeling and initial breadboard verification testing of atmospheric propagation of RF signals, RF System Design/Analysis, Analog/Digital Receiver Architecture, Digital Signal Processing, as it relates to RF tracking systems.
