Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced professional to join an integrated production and aftermarket MRO planning team. The Business Integration Planner is responsible for production schedule management, aftermarket demand planning activity, inventory management and leading Quarterly Business Reviews (SIOP). Coordinates material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet demand requirements. Collaborates to effectively manage physical inventory strategy, optimize operations flow, and ensure inventory accuracy. Advises management of the status for work in progress, material availability, and potential impacts. Measures, reports, and develops correct actions to meet customer requirements and maintain KPI's at acceptable levels.

  • Conduct and participate in training as needed
  • Model appropriate behaviors that encourage effective teamwork
  • Assess and interpret customer needs from multiple interfaces
  • Support and develop sales expectation summary
  • Develop build schedule and material forecast plan to support sales expectation
  • Lead planning reviews with cross functional group for consensus approval
  • Maintain accurate master demand to meet customer and business commitments
  • Release WIP to the shop floor according to scheduled plan
  • Ensure product compliance through WIP/BOM maintenance
  • Communicate and status priorities throughout shop
  • Meet customer requirements for on-time shipment
  • Ensure demand strategy for each part is aligned with supply chain and program expectations
  • Escalate supply needs for appropriate visibility
  • Lead and support used asset management processes
  • Present material properly at the point of use (POU) – logistics
  • Drive appropriate inventory levels and support accuracy initiatives
  • Support physical inventory activity for assigned programs
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, mathematical skills, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and drive resolution to issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for working with diverse work teams across various functional areas
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as required
  • Physically able to walk long distances and lift up to 35lbs
  • Good planning, time management and organization skills
  • A fundamental understanding of constraints such as space, capacities and materials movement
  • Demonstrated understating of material presentation and flow
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • MRP - Planning experience in a production environment
  • MRO – Repair station material demand planning experience
  • Oracle (MRP / Inventory Management Proficiency)
  • Ability to develop tools and process to streamline data collection and analysis
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4-years work experience or equivalent experience


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
