POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Representative is responsible for all sales rep and territory support activities. This person will work directly with hospitals, field-based reps, and internal staff to facilitate the overall support function for the sales team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Handle phone calls from field personnel and customers
  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries and maintain customer relations
  • Complete administrative tasks and input customer information into databases for documentation
  • Order processing
  • Help to provide technical support
  • Inventory management (field-based personnel)
  • Provide required monthly reports
  • Draft and assist with proofing customer contracts and agreements
  • May assist with International support as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-4 years of prior customer service, or related experience
  • High level of accuracy with data entry
  • Ability to multi-task prioritizes, communicate effectively and remain organized
  • Good working knowledge of PC based computers and familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the sales arena
  • Professional interactions with customers and employees
  • Adept at problem solving
  • Ability to learn new skills and acquire information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
