TITLE: Assistant Manager

REPORTS TO: General Manager

PURPOSE: To manage a shift or day part as directed while following the company philosophy and expectations for a successful and profitable shift. Help lead the store staff in the expectations outlined by the General Manager. Complete all actions outlined in the MTP chart for position

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full Certification of the Shift Manager Position
  • Efficiently quarterback a shift of up to 7 people as assigned.
  • Have a full awareness of a solid shift vs. one that was lacking.
  • Keeps composure in stressed situations and properly interacts with staff.
  • Help lead the store in successful completion of the operations lists.
  • Lead training of Team Members on fryer and backline.
  • Lead Cleaning in the areas of fryer and backline.
  • Supervise and motivate Team Members and Shift Managers to perform to their highest possible level of ability.
  • Insure POP is posted according to the Marketing Calendar and is posted on time.
  • Insure all marketing plans are executed on time and accurately to build repeat customer visits.
  • Utilize all management tools as directed such as but not limited to, beef sheets, nightly inventory, refund logs, ops lists, deployment guide, manager's opening and maintenance lists, and the daily cash sheet.
  • Execute the Twelve Systems daily to insure a clean, organized restaurant, prepared to deliver quality food, fast and friendly.
  • Operate in accordance with established performance, profits and operating standards as set out in the OSM.
  • Have a good working knowledge of Fryer, backline, and the POS/drive thru systems. Can trouble shoot and communicates lack of efficiency or need for repairs
  • Performs all daily admin duties on time, properly orders supplies as needed, and takes the lead on crew TMTP training on shift.
  • Assists in the screening of applications and coaching of employees
  • Increase sales by providing outstanding product and service through lead by example
  • Complete MTP training as outlined in personal action plan in a timely manner.
  • Applies Servsafe training and leads the store safety first approach
  • Communicate openly and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress and problems.
  • Provide leadership by engendering excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment toward Company objectives. Create an atmosphere of "Esprit de Corp."
  • Makes decisions to help control the unit controllable expenses
  • Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description
  • Follows thru on tasks and other duties, as assigned by the General Manager
