Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Intern - Technical Support Specialist at our Winnipeg, MB location. The selected candidate will be part of our Applied Scholarship Program.

We are seeking dedicated students who are interested in building a lasting relationship with us by returning year over year for summer internships with the ultimate goal of employment after graduation.

As part Applied's Scholarship Program, at the end of each successful term the selected student will receive a scholarship award for their hard work. Upon returning each year and successfully completing a subsequent term, that award will increase in value!

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The overall purpose of the role Technical Services Support is to provide focused support in the areas of technical design, documentation, drawings, and models as required. They will play an integral role in helping our customers develop a solution that will enable them to Achieve Superior Performance!

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager – Western Canada, you will be responsible for:

  • Support he team with 3D Drawings, schematics, and documentation

  • Ability and desire to learn Technical Design in Fluid Power, Bearings, and Power Transmission industry

  • Develop skills in and support with project coordination responsibilities

  • Willingness to work with customers directly on an application

  • Providing accurate project quotes
