As the Serve as the Customer Account Representative – Strategic Accounts, you will serve as the interface between the customer and Bay Advanced Technologies by the effective and efficient processing of all customer order transactions and customer order inquiries with minimal direct supervision. You will have direct and frequent interaction with the VP of Business Development and Account Managers responsible for the accounts, including joint customer visits and contract pricing. Responsible for daily management of customer portals. This is a senior level position, so industry experience is required.
Position responsibilities:
- Daily management of customer portal and dashboard
- Process customer orders
- Send order confirmations
- Process customer quotes
- Contact vendor for price and delivery information
- Check price and stock per customer request
- Send customer quotes
- Handle a high volume of email communication
- Run M2M pricing for BES Assemblies
- Maintain Customer Open Order reports
- Attend Customer meetings as required in person or utilizing MS Teams
- Work as a team with VP of Business Development and Account Managers
- Participate in Customer Contract discussions with Sales Team
Essential skills and experience:
- High level knowledge of standard sales order processing
- Basic knowledge of standard inventory practices
- Ability to deal with customers on phones and in person
- The ability to multi-task and handle difficult situations professionally.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Internet, including good keyboarding skills. Strong skills working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets is required, including creating and editing of spreadsheets.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Customer Account Service position in our industry
- High School Diploma or GED

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 (Base plus Incentive) depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. This position is an Hourly, Non-Exempt position. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.
