What you'll do:

As a Belt Technician at Applied Industrial Technologies, you'll help our customers by fabricating and repairing a variety of belts and rubber components both in the shop and onsite. Some more details about what you will be doing includes the following:

• Install and vulcanize conveyor belting.
• Pick up and deliver orders, stock and supplies.
• Travel nationally with a team of trained technicians to perform conveyor installs and repairs at customer locations.
• Work in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone involved. Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by managers.

Requirements:

• Mechanical background, working on cars, equipment, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, as well as ability to work at heights and tight spaces.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Valid driver's license.
  
   

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated pay range for a Belt Mechanic in Spokane, WA is $22.00 - $25.00/hr depending on experience, plus bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts are tied to location and company performance and historically have generally been between $300 – $500/mo, though no specific amount is guaranteed. There are additional quarterly and annual bonus opportunities.
