To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Intern located in our Henrico, VA site.

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the Intern will assist with daily tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

• Assist Engineering Team with meeting site production objectives
• Reviewing documentation, CAD drawings and reporting finding to team
• Monitoring bottlenecks and making recommendations to management
• Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:

• Sophomore/Junior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering major
• CAD tools/(Solidworks) experience
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis
• Lean/Six Sigma helpful
• Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
• Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
• Previous internship experience a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

• Available to work 40 hours/week (in person) for a 10-12 week Summer assignment
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 GPA
