LOCATION: Singapore
CRITERIA: Current students studying in Universities which are based in Singapore
INTERNSHIP DURATION: minimum 20 weeks full time commitment with the option of extending up to a further 12 weeks.
Intern - System Level Test bring-up of Accelerated Processing Units
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:
Embark on an exciting internship into the world of advanced semiconductor technology. Gain industry experience
working on cutting edge AMD Graphics and CPU processor technology through meaningful hands-on assignments and projects at System level test. Support silicon bring-up of new accelerated processing units at System level.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Learn about Product development using Industry Standard Agile development methodologies and useful modern-day hardware and software debugging tools and techniques through hands-on assignments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support silicon bring-up and system level test development on AMD technology and platforms.
- Develop and validate system level test programs
- Characterize silicon in terms of process, voltage, temperature
- Debug system level test failures
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
A self-driven individual with a willingness to learn, resourceful and passionate about technology. Willingness to learn
with a good attitude. Willing to work hard and play hard!
RELEVANT SKILLSETS:
- Basic understanding of electronics and computing systems.
- Basic ability to program in a Linux/Windows environment using scripting languages like Ruby/Perl/Python and Object-oriented programming languages like Java.
- Training will be provided.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- EE/EEE or Computer Engineering/Science Background
