THE ROLE
A robust and resilient supply chain is imperative to managing a dynamic sourcing landscape. AMD ensures consistent product availability and predictable lead times by minimizing Supply Chain Risk (SCR) through strategic vendor selection, geographically diverse manufacturing, and assurance programs.


This position resides in Manufacturing Strategy and Procurement and will be an integral team member supporting management of the AMD supply chain risk and responsible sourcing programs at AMD.


The Program Manager will closely partner with Manufacturing Strategy, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams to support AMD's holistic Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) strategy. They will manage comprehensive traceability efforts that ensure the supply chain is sourced ethically, legally, and in line with our company values.

 

THE PERSON
You are experienced in semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing coupled with a passion for the advocacy of human rights of workers and environmental stewardship.


This role is a great fit for a professional team-player who is flexible and comfortable with ambiguity. You have strong analytical skills, enjoy creating structures to operationalize processes and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You are process-driven and outcome-oriented with the ability to layout and execute timelines and adapt to evolving priorities. You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with a geographically dispersed team. Are comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with an ability to structure and have ownership of your work.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support suppliers to meet AMD requirements on responsible sourcing, business continuity and corrective action plans
• Collect and analyze Scope 3 Category 1 (purchased goods and services) emissions data
• Manage third party supply chain risk management tool, and serve as risk the response team lead
• Own processes to deliver and maintain necessary supplier data coupled with KPI tracking
• Coordinate and execute multi-tier supply chain mapping surveys
• Act as primary internal and external SCRM inquiry response lead
• Develop and manage business analytics tool and data reporting e.g. PowerBI

 

PREFFERED CREDENTIALS
• Experience in the areas of semiconductor business continuity, responsible mineral sourcing or supply chain sustainability;
• Experience measuring scope 3 emissions data, ideally setting and management reduction goals;
• Experience supporting and/or engaging suppliers to meet regulatory, customer and company-specific requirements;
• Experience managing expectations with customers and/or providing progress updates;
• Familiarity with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and its Code of Conduct and supplier assurance processes, including Responsible Mineral Assurance Process;
• Experience in cross function program management.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
Bachelor's degree in related fields (i.e. supply chain management, environmental studies)
