Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring Sr. Product Development Engineers to Develop and/or test electrical/electronic components and/or systems for semiconductor products. Design, develop, and/or manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the products move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifestyle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Under limited supervision, exercise judgment within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Responsible for integration of content and release of test programs to high-volume manufacturing on next-generation AMD microprocessors. Leverage software development skills towards test planning, pattern conversion, silicon characterization/debug, and data analysis. Correlate the test solution to lab/manufacturing/customer platforms to validate product design, fabrication process, packaging technology, and manufacturing robustness to product specifications. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:

1.Designing and developing RESTful-based micro services;

2.Implementing features utilizing Python or C++;

3.Implementing PostgreSQL database;

4.Utilized Jenkins script to streamline CI/CD pipeline;

5.Designing and developing web application user interfaces;

6.Utilizing Git for source code management;

7.Creating containerized services using Docker;

8.Orchestration and management of Docker containers using Kubernetes;

9.User Interface testing using Selenium; and

10.Management of SW Application infrastructure using Ansible.
