The Role:

As a member of the FTO Testchip team, you will craft and tapeout SOC with IP and logic tiles in advanced semiconductor technologies. Your primary focus will be on physical design and verification and early technology bring-up. You will work in various critical roles, including Physical Design, Static Timing Analysis, and Physical Verification.

You have a passion for modern processor architecture, digital design and verification. You are a team player at heart. You have excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. You are willing to learn and eager to take on challenges, viewing each as an opportunity to push the boundaries and drive innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Physical design of digital IPs from RTL to GDSII using synthesis and place-and-route tools
  • Parasitic extraction and Static Timing analysis
  • Physical verification signoff (DRC/LVS/etc.)
  • Electro-Migration and IR Drop analysis
  • Architecture and flow enhancements

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of digital design concepts and logic circuit operation.
  • Experience with multiple tape-outs using industry standard synthesis, PNR, timing sign-off, and physical verification tools.
  • Familiarity with full-chip Static Timing Analysis (STA) and EMIR sign-off is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in software development, including the ability to create well-structured and maintainable code, experience with testing and regression.

 

Academic Credentials:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
