SOFTWARE SYSTEMS DESIGNER - Full Stack Web Developer (C# .Net)

THE ROLE:  

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Software Systems Design Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to the success of AMD's products, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Software Systems Design Engineering team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.  

THE PERSON:  

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Full Stack Web Developer proficient in .NET Core Web API, Angular (Type Script) and backend database technologies like MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. Additional working knowledge of Node.js, deployment on Linux/Windows environments, and web servers like Nginx and IIS is highly desirable. Familiarity with Git/GitHub deployment is expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

1. Develop backend APIs using C# .NET Core and optionally Node.js.
2. Build responsive front-end interfaces using Angular
3. Design and optimize SQL queries for MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite.
4. Manage version control using Git and collaborate using GitHub.
5. Work on deployment and configuration in both Linux and Windows environments.
6. Configure and maintain web servers like Nginx (Linux) and IIS (Windows).
7. Ensure security, scalability, and performance in deployed applications.
8. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  

1. Strong in C# .NET Core Web API.
2. Proficient in Angular  (JavaScript/TypeScript).
3. Backend knowledge with Node.js is a plus.
4. Solid experience with relational databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite.
5. Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments.
6. Familiar with Nginx and IIS configuration and deployment.
7. Proficient with Git and collaboration tools like GitHub.
8. Understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and DevOps basics.
9. Exposure to GoLang. 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  

• Bachelors or master's degree in electrical or computer engineering.  
• Master's degree preferred.
