SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGNER - C++ Engineer

THE ROLE: 

This is an exciting role in which you will have excellent exposure to all the latest AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) technologies. Imagine yourself as part of the team which will deliver our next generation of our products or automation for many of our reference solutions. THE PERSON: 

We are seeking a highly self-motivated System Software Engineer with strong C/C++ development skills. The ideal candidate will work on low-level system software components, including SDKs, while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate coding and debugging workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Experience in utilizing AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality is a must
2. Should have hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Git, and debugging tools.
3. Solid understanding of Win32 APIs, multithreading, CPU architecture and hardware-software interaction
4. Knowledge of Windows device driver development (WDM/WDF) and Windows Internals is a plus
5. Excellent aptitude and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Extensive C++ experience, preferably in production environments 
• 4-6 Years of relevant experience in system software development
• Prior experience of scripting with Perl, Python, Shell, TCL/TK, and AutoIT is an added advantage 
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments 

• Experience with software development process and tools such as debuggers and source code control systems a plus  

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent
