Software Development Engineer

DURATION:

12 month contract, with possibility to extend or switch to indefinite contract

THE ROLE 

We are looking for DevOps engineer with preferred experience of 1-2 years. Engineer must know popular DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes and be familiar with other tools such Docker, Terraform, Prometheus etc. 

Be part of the team that: 

• provides CI/CD support for other teams on important projects.  
• works on optimization and implementation of various development, testing, automation tools and CI infrastructure.  
• works on selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, open stack experience a plus)  

Be part of a hardworking team that develops software for AMD's GPU Virtualization solution and delivers a premium GPU experience in the Cloud.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Collaborate with software developers and teams to understand their needs and optimize the CI/CD pipeline. 
• Design, implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins 
• Develop and maintain scripts (Groovy, Python, Shell, Batch …) to automate routine tasks and troubleshoot issues. 
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure and applications. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and improve processes. 
• Implement, manage monitoring and logging solutions for applications and infrastructure. 
• Work with system provisioning tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration. 
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 

• Strong proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation. 
• Proficiency in Groovy, Python and Shell/Batch scripting. 
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
• Good working knowledge of Git for version control. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 
• Familiarity with system provisioning tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform). 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or another relevant field
