THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to design and deliver innovative global compensation programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent across AMD's organizations. As a senior individual contributor, you'll apply deep expertise in compensation design, analytics, and technology enablement to drive data-driven decisions and automation across AMD's global rewards ecosystem.
You will partner closely with senior HR and business leaders to align pay programs with AMD's strategic priorities and culture of performance, while exploring how AI and advanced analytics can transform compensation practices for the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a thought leader and advisor to internal client groups on compensation strategies, market positioning, and retention solutions.
- Consult with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and key stakeholders on compensation matters such as market competitiveness, internal equity, and talent retention strategies. Guide stakeholders in understanding compensation principles, frameworks, and the strategic implications of pay decisions.
- Partner with HRBPs to proactively identify compensation challenges and opportunities and co-develop data-driven solutions that align with our philosophy.
- Drive complex and strategic compensation initiatives and projects by collaborating with broader compensation team, cross-functional partners, and HR Business Partners.
- Provide support annual compensation programs (bonus, focal, benchmarking).
- Provide strategic insights and analysis using AI-driven tools to drive process automation and data accuracy to improve efficiencies and decision making.
- Partner across HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure global consistency, compliance, and operational excellence in all pay programs.
- Lead with a global mindset- designing and implementing compensation solutions at global scale.
- Monitor global compensation market trends and provide insights into maintaining competitive programs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Progressive experience in global compensation or total rewards.
- Proven success leading complex, cross-functional compensation initiatives.
- Expertise in job architecture, pay structure design, and market benchmarking.
- Strong understanding of global compensation market trends, with demonstrated ability to stay current on evolving practices, competitive shifts, and emerging pay strategies.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, statistical tools, and visualization platforms.
- Experience leveraging AI or machine learning for compensation analytics, pay modeling, or process automation.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Radford surveys and SAP Success Factors.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced degree preferred.
