THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking an experienced Senior IT Application Portfolio Management Analyst to join the organization.  In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing of application portfolios within IT. Your responsibilities will include supporting activities to ensure that Business Applications and Business Services are kept up-to-date with accurate and complete data; as well as proactive reviews of server mappings against the Business Applications.  Other responsibilities may include assisting with cross-functional initiatives that will create value in the efficiency and effectiveness of Application Portfolio Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Manage Application Portfolio Management (APM) application in ServiceNow
• Manage the APM support resource(s)
• Manage inventory of business applications, services, and offerings and related processes/requests
• Initiate periodic review of Business Application, Services, and Server Mappings
• Approver for new Business Application, Business Service, and Business Service Offering requests
• Business Applications
• Business and Technical Services
• Service Offerings
• Application Services (Register)
• Have working knowledge of the IT organization, including business partners and team leads
• Engage with Business Application requestors and existing IT Owners to determine the correct approach for capturing Business Application and related Services
• Have working knowledge general IT architectures and basic understanding of Enterprise Architecture
• Have a working knowledge of the ServiceNow CMDB
• Develop a working knowledge of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
• Proactively know when org changes and terminations should trigger Business Application and Business Service re-assignments
• Managing portfolio of service requests related to APM and CSDM and enable self-service capabilities where possible 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• 3-5 years of working experience in Information Technology Architectures and Applications
• 3-5 years IT Service Management experience, or a good understanding of Service Management practices.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience and working knowledge of CMDB repositories and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI) is an added advantage
• Adapt to working in a team-oriented, global, collaborative environment.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
