THE ROLE:

Our team is looking for a Product Engineering Architect at PMTS level to lead new Data Center GPU product scoping and early engagement for Product Development Engineering.

THE PERSON:

• Effective people skills to lead and drive progress across organizational levels and functions.
• Ability to operate autonomously through ambiguity and constantly drive for excellence. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary contact point from Product Development Engineering Group for new product scoping and roadmap definition in concept, feasibility and planning phase
• Leading the product scoping process for product development engineering through concept, feasibility and planning phase across schedule, budget, head count, cost, yield and quality attainment plan
• Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams including design, software, platform, test engineering, product engineering, advanced packaging, foundry technology, hardware infrastructure to assess testability and provide viable productization solutions for new products, new features and new IPs
• Evaluating new technologies and their potential integration into AMD's product portfolio
• Providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the product lifecycle, from initial scoping to deployment and support
• Managing a team of technical domain experts and program manager for new product scoping and early engagement

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Great depth and breadth of capability and skillsets, including DFT, test engineering, product engineering and technical program management.
• Solid understanding of Data Center GPU product knowledge, Server system knowledge and practical volume production management experience.
• At least 15+ years of experience in semiconductor, high performance computing industry.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor, Master or PHD in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
