Job Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced and skilled EMEA Payroll Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations across Europe, Middle East and (EMEA) regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and tax laws. The EMEA Payroll Manager will lead a team of payroll specialists, provide guidance, and support, and collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Manage payroll operations for multiple countries across EMEA, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations and tax laws

- Lead and manage a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities

- Implement and maintain payroll software and systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy

- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processes and resolve any issues

- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations

- Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, benefits, and taxes

- Manage and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies

- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and legislation, advising the team and implementing changes as needed

- Analyze and report on payroll data, identifying trends and areas for improvement

- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as payroll vendors and tax authorities

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on EMEA regions

- Proven experience managing payroll teams and operations

- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws across EMEA regions

- Experience with payroll software and systems (e.g. ADP)

- Experience with international payroll and tax compliance

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)

 

Nice to Have:

 

- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Global Payroll Specialist (CGPS) designation

- Experience in working with HR, Benefits administration, and other stakeholders

- Experience with project management and process improvement
