THE ROLE:

Our NTSG – Network Technology Solutions Group team working with our AMD Pensando DPU product's is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the field of data center infrastructure, AI NIC (GPU-to-GPU communication) and networking technologies.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic candidate to join our team in the AMD Pensando DPU Group.

THE PERSON:
As a P4 Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for our SSDK OEM customers.
You will work closely with our customers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, optimize application performance and enable successful customer deployments.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide end-to-end application support to end customers.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application errors, incidents, and performance issues across various environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Provide, test and deliver P4 patches.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and testing of application upgrades and patches.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Seasoned experience in application support, preferably in a P4 or similar capacity.
  • Expert knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in building and debugging Data Centers and distributed systems.
  • System software architecture and driver integration skills is a plus 
  • Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management and support processes.
  • Strong knowledge of git, CI/CD systems, and docker.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting production applications.
  • Experience with PCIe debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Programming experience with C/C++ (P4 is a plus).
  • Experience with build systems, docker, git and Linux OS.
  • Experience debugging PCIe issues.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
