LOCATION: Singapore

CRITERIA: Current students studying in Universities which are based in Singapore

INTERNSHIP DURATION: minimum 20 weeks full time commitment with the option of extending up to a further 12 weeks.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Before starting volume production, AMD products go through a phase of validation and optimization to get the best yield by reducing or eliminating design, manufacturing, and testing process defects. This project will involve performance of various Product Engineering tasks related to this work, such as automation and data extraction/analysis. Product Engineering work involves working with multiple teams and provides a great learning opportunity to understand how a successful semiconductor company collaborates to produce market-leading gaming products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Yield engineers in automating routine test data analysis tasks such as data queries to backend databases, formatting data to enable faster and more accurate analysis, and updating visualization tools for better user experience.
• Develop and document fast and accurate SQL test data queries to backend Snowflake database based on specific use case requirement
• Work with team engineers to support data analysis automation and visualization improvement efforts
• Support Product Engineering team in various tasks to debug product yield issues through data collection and analysis

RELEVANT SKILLSETS:

• Programming concepts is a must. Statistics/Semiconductor technical knowledge preferred. Training will be provided

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Electrical Engineering/Data Science or Computer Science
