SMTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER

THE ROLE: 

As a member of the Circuit Technology Group, you will help bring to life cutting-edge designs. As a member of the front-end Verification team, you will work closely with the architecture, IP design, Physical Design teams, and product engineers to achieve a bug free IP design (LPDDR/DDR phy) and eventually a first pass silicon success.

THE PERSON:

A successful candidate will work with senior silicon design engineers. The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Implementation and verification of mixed signal LPDDR/DDR PHY architecture and features 

• Understand the architecture, Create test plan and execute testplan, develop functional coverage, analyze code coverage holes. regression triaging
• Test coverage and test cost reduction analysis 
• Post silicon support to ensure successful bring up and enhance yield learning

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Understanding of UVM verification methodology, expertise in Verilog and System Verilog languages.
• Very strong debug and problem solving skills.
• Exposure to scripting languages 
• Experience with EDA simulation tools, and verification flows. 
• Experience with VCS simulation tool, Perl/Shell scripting, and Verilog RTL design 
• Experience of analog and mixed signal designs
• Experince of memory PHY architecture is an additional feather.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
