Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers in selecting and integrating AMD Embedded x86 processors to ensure successful deployments
• Provide technical leadership and guidance that focuses on design win strategies for all customer opportunities
• Analyze customer needs and compare AMD and competing solutions to maximize product adoption
• Collaborate with field and headquarter resources to develop and deliver technical proposals to customer project managers, engineering managers, system architects and design engineers
• Collaborate with application engineers and support teams on post-sales activities such as lab debugging and performance tuning.
• Provide regular feedback to AMD management and marketing/engineering experts on the needs of the customer base
• POC design creation to demonstrate AMD's values in order to create design wins

Job Requirements  

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent

• 5+ years of industry experience with X86 computer or Embedded System

• Solid programming experience in C or C++

• Knowledge of X86 computer and network equipment

• Software knowledge on Linux at kernel and driver level, GCC, make, git, etc.

• Knowledge of network protocols and network interfaces

• Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentations skills, and the ability to work with multiple groups

• Ability to take ownership of technical and product issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
