THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking a highly proactive, high-energy Executive Assistant to support our North America Commercial Channel Sales Corporate Vice President and leadership team. This is a fast-paced, highly visible role where you'll help orchestrate daily operations, manage complex priorities, and keep the organization running smoothly.

You will partner closely with other executive assistants, global sales leaders, customers, and cross-functional teams—ensuring seamless coordination, communication, and execution across the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves being the “glue” of a team, and enjoys juggling a wide variety of responsibilities with professionalism and urgency.

 

THE PERSON:

You are an experienced, polished EA who navigates C-suite environments with confidence and grace. You anticipate needs before they arise, operate with discretion, and bring strong judgment to fast-moving situations. You excel at organizing complexity, managing time-sensitive priorities, and communicating across all levels of the organization.

 

You bring:

  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills

  • Comfort interacting with customers, partners, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong executive presence, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information
  • A bias for action and the ability to stay composed amid rapid change

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executive Support & Calendar Leadership

  • Own complex executive calendars; prioritize meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, logistics, and executive offsites
  • Manage expenses and ensure timely submission of reports

 

Operational Coordination & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison to internal leaders, customers, and external partners
  • Triage inquiries, redirect actions to the right teams, and follow through to resolution
  • Draft, review, and prepare executive-level correspondence, agendas, and reports

 

Information & Workflow Management

  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources to support decision-making
  • Maintain organized, compliant records and proprietary files
  • Develop efficient processes to streamline administrative workflows

 

Team & Departmental Support

  • Assist with financial processes including budgets, POs, contracts, vendor management, and invoice tracking
  • Support departmental logistics—including equipment needs, supply management, and facilities coordination
  • Partner with Global Sales and cross-functional teams to support ongoing business operations

 

Leadership Presence

  • Exercise judgment, discretion, and flexibility when managing sensitive information or fast-changing priorities
  • Act as a representative of the VP's office through professional communication and relationship management

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience supporting executive-level leaders, ideally in Tech Sales, Commercial, or Global organizations
  • Strong mastery of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), SharePoint, and SAP
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in environments that require agility, confidentiality, and sound judgment

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

 

LOCATION:
