THE ROLE:

We are seeking an insightful and experienced Marketing Manager I to join our collaborative and close-knit team in Austin, TX. The WW Customer Advocacy Project Manager supports APJ, India and Greater China endorsements and reports to the Customer Advocacy (Center of Excellence) Team Leader and will lead the development and management of data center case studies, with a primary focus on elevating customer testimonials and related content. This role is essential in driving initiatives to deepen customer relationships and achieve business success. You will work closely with sales, senior management, product marketing, and other departments to expand program offerings and ensure alignment with strategic goals. The role requires exceptional project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines. You will establish and maintain relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors, providing program support in all areas.

 

THE PERSON:

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a comprehensive understanding of corporate briefing programs, event management, and strategic customer engagement. You should excel in both creative and analytical aspects of the role, with a strong ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, fluid environment. You should be a quick learner, comfortable supporting multi-stakeholder projects, and possess strong project management and communication skills. A self-starter with an interest in growing your personal skillset, you should be accountable, have a continuous improvement mindset, and be ready to lead when necessary. Experience in Technology and Data Center is preferred, and you must demonstrate the highest level of professionalism in all customer and external partner interactions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Customer Advocacy Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute end-to-end strategies for capturing, managing, and promoting Commercial endorsements
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers to facilitate acquisition of testimonials and references.
  • Serve as stakeholder for non-HQ qualified stories in assigned regions.
  • Support global adoption of HQ best practices and vendor onboarding.

 

Content Development & Storytelling

  • Lead the planning and execution of customer interviews, case studies, video testimonials, and other formats to showcase CPU and GPU commercial customer success stories.
  • Drive story quality by developing unique, customer-centric questions and exploring creative formats for storytelling.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, partner marketing teams (internal and external), and OEMs to develop and deliver joint stories.
  • Manage external agencies for upcoming case studies and coordinate briefings with sales and business units.
  • Facilitate the process and documentation for sales to obtain customer legal approval.
  • Manage and upload all completed case studies to internal resource libraries.

 

Amplification & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with PR, Social, Content, Campaign, and Segment teams to align amplification strategies and story prioritization.
  • Manage WF requests for AMD.com amplification and localization needs in line with AMD's language strategy and standardized deliverables.
  • Work with campaign and social teams to amplify the voice of the customer across channels.

 

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update Smartsheet and Salesforce records for all managed endorsements.
  • Deliver monthly reports on project status and amplification performance.
  • Maintain a tracker of all projects, including status, timelines, and estimated completion dates.
  • Measure and analyze the performance of testimonial initiatives to optimize impact and ROI.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in customer advocacy, and incorporate insights into strategy development.
  • Ingest, interpret, and apply feedback from multiple stakeholders to enhance content and processes.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer testimonial programs and driving measurable results.
  • Experience managing third-party agencies to support case study deliverables.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Experience with basic copywriting and editing.
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in leveraging various content formats, including written, video, and visual, to effectively communicate customer success stories.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of customer advocacy initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, content management platforms, and other relevant tools and technologies.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
