THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking an innovative, self-driven APeJ Commercial Client OEMs & Alliances Marketing Manager with a strong track record of leading, planning, and executing joint marketing initiatives that deliver measurable business impact for consumer and commercial segments.

 

This role will be responsible for developing and activating marketing campaigns with OEM partners and alliances —covering end-to-end engagement from planning and alignment to execution and post-campaign reporting.

 

The position requires close collaboration with AMD HQ OEM teams, regional and country marketing teams, and OEM marketing teams. Beyond OEM responsibilities, the role also includes building and strengthening alliances with partners such as Microsoft to drive alignment and co-marketing programs for commercial client marketing.

 

This role reports to the APeJ Commercial Client Marketing Lead and covers the APeJ region (Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand).

 

THE PERSON:
We're looking for a marketing professional who is:

  • Experienced in developing and executing joint partner marketing programs with OEMs and alliances (e.g., Microsoft, ISVs)
  • Skilled in project management, able to manage cross-functional stakeholders, deadlines, and competing priorities
  • Customer-focused, with a strong sense of accountability to deliver projects on time and with quality
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and solutions-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, with strategic thinking to connect marketing impact with business priorities, strong time management and attention to detail
  • Capable of independently managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Willing to travel up to 30% for partner and customer engagements
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus
  • Strong in communication, presentation, budget management, and data analytics
  • Adaptable to ambiguity and able to pivot quickly based on changing business needs
  • Experienced in working within a Fortune 500 global matrix organization (preferred)
  • Passionate about AI, technology, PC hardware, gaming, content creation, and innovation (a plus)
  • A team player with a positive, energetic, and collaborative, growth mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot, and other modern productivity/tech tools, CRM knowledge

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary regional OEM & alliances marketing contact with a focus on developing and executing OEM-branded campaigns aligned to AMD's marketing and business priorities
  • Build, maintain, and influence strong relationships with priority OEMs and alliances while exploring opportunities with new OEM accounts
  • Drive AMD's participation in OEM-led launches and industry events, as well as OEM participation in AMD-led initiatives
  • Collaborate with AMD HQ, regional, and local teams, GAM and sales teams to manage alliance funding, drive activities alignment, activity execution, and ensure adherence to brand and marketing guidelines—including providing training and creative review support
  • Partner with internal AMD teams (sales, social, PR, finance, marketing operations) to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Support the APeJ Commercial Client Marketing Lead in coordinating regional and centrally driven marketing programs with OEMs and alliances
  • Develop schedules, track progress, and ensure quality control of all projects
  • Deliver campaign debriefs, program reports, and ROI analysis on a weekly and quarterly basis
  • Manage and track co-marketing funding with OEMs marketing and OEMs operations teams, including quarterly plan submissions, approvals, and utilization tracking
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance AMD's joint marketing effectiveness with OEMs and alliances by collaborating seamlessly across stakeholders

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 8–10 years of experience in B2B technology marketing in APeJ, with exposure to country and regional roles with proven track record
  • Strong background in Commercial Client PC OEM marketing and the broader IT/tech industry; semiconductor experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to design and execute marketing strategies with OEMs and alliances that deliver measurable results
  • In-depth understanding of the PC industry, commercial client use cases, and emerging trends
  • Experience engaging with OEMs such as HP, Lenovo, Dell, ASUS, Acer, and alliances & ISVs such as Microsoft to build joint campaigns that drive brand and demand growth
  • Proficiency in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns with agencies and partners, including ROI tracking and performance analysis
  • Solid understanding of OEM marketing processes across digital marketing, demand generation, and channel programs, with a focus on measurable results
  • Strong in Microsoft

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
