THE ROLE:

The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, activating, and coordinating AMD-led marketing activities across various business segments.

Responsible for three marketing pillars: regional Event management, regional Influencer management, and media content creation. The incumbent will work across all of AMD's major business segments in the B2B and B2C space in collaboration with the regional marketing & sales teams.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will have a background in digital Marketing and previously worked for an enterprise/datacenter server hardware/solution brand or marketing agency, has strong project management skills, and holds some experience in event management. The ideal candidate will display a passion, drive, and ambition to create new avenues.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and lead regional industry events with internal and external partners across Japan
  • Drive influencer marketing activities in Japan markets for AMD across the different business segments
  • Plan and execute media content generation activities such as video testimonials and generation of video content for AMD's social platforms.
  • The person will also be asked to deliver regular analysis and report to the regional AMD Marketing team leads on campaign results and success, as well as provide improvement recommendations.
  • Coordinate and drive awareness and enterprise/datacenter-related programs in coordination with the Japan/APAC/WW PR and social team.
  • Develop schedules, supervise progress, and provide quality assurance and control of projects.
  • Produce debriefs on campaigns, including delivering regular reports and return on investment calculation.
  • Take a proactive and positive approach in seeking ways to improve all aspects of our marketing activities.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant marketing work experience in the Semi-conductor, etnerprise/datacenter server hardware/solution, IT industry or within an online/event-focused marketing industry (either corporate or agency background)
  • Outstanding communication skills with an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Confident user of the Microsoft Office suite with a high level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Copywriting experience and/or experience in graphics design is a plus
  • Project management experience working directly with cross-functional teams and multiple partners

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
