LOCATION: Singapore

CRITERIA: Current students studying in Universities which are based in Singapore

INTERNSHIP DURATION: minimum 20 weeks full time commitment with the option of extending up to a further 12 weeks.

Intern – ASIC and FPGA Functional Correctness Verification 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:

• System-Level Design Verification Process of AMD Products
• Design Architecture of Application Specific Integrated Circuits and Field Programmable Gate Array

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

ASIC and FPGA SoC Verification to prove the functional correctness of RTL designs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to verification flow improvement through automation.
• Develop UVM-based testbench component using SystemVerilog for functional verification.
• Implement test plan items using different verification methodologies including:
  • Test case development using SystemVerilog and/or C/C+
  • Assertion implementation using System Verilog
• Perform system-level simulations and analyse results using EDA tools to ensure design correctness.
• Collaborate with members of the SoC Verification and Design teams to resolve verification issues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

A highly motivated individual who is willing to learn, resourceful, and passionate about technology. He/she must have

good communication and teamwork skills.

RELEVANT SKILLSETS:

• C/C++, Verilog, System Verilog and UVM
• Python and Perl
• Synopsys VCS
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Students currently pursuing Masters with Computer Engineering/Science Background or EE/EEE
