About the Role:

Are you a leader with a passion for strategic development and operational excellence? Can you develop others to maximise their potential? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Transformation Manager – Integrated Planning and Delivery, to drive key strategic projects, governance, and coordination for our Australian region.

We operate in a complex technical and regulatory environment. This role ensures the deployment of critical management operating technologies, maximizing value and ensuring regional compliance. You will bridge significant functional Centres of Excellence and operating locations, optimizing product value and facilitating continuous improvement.

In this diverse and challenging role, you will spearhead the development, governance, and coordination of strategic projects, Integrated schedules, and the Alcoa Business System (ABS). Your role will be crucial in identifying and addressing both short-term and long-term issues using data-driven insights. This position requires exceptional stakeholder management, consulting and influencing skills across our Operations, Centres of Excellence, and SME functions to deliver impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

Operational Performance Management:

  • Motivate and lead the team in problem-solving to deliver real-time outcomes.

  • Drive the development and governance of the Plan on a Page (POAP) to achieve excellence.

  • Build scorecards and key metrics to monitor outcomes.

Regional Alcoa Business Systems (ABS):

  • Develop and implement targeted ABS deployment strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with global ABS standards and support sites in implementation.

Integrated Schedule Management:

  • Integrate Long Term Mine Plans with 36 Month Mine Plans.

  • Lead key business reporting processes to enhance performance and compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Exhibit strong leadership to drive business outcomes and address challenging issues.

  • Collaborate and influence stakeholders from various departments including Legal, Finance, and Human Resources.

People Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of high-performing Senior Managers across diverse expertise to deliver a portfolio of projects.

What you can bring to the role:

To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:

  • Tertiary Qualifications (essential) with Master's in Business Administration (desirable.)

  • A track record of progression within a top-tier consulting firm with experience of working in heavy industry or the resources sector delivering transformational projects.

  • A collaborative Leader with a passion for driving high performance in yourself and others to maximise your team's potential.

  • Highly developed governance, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills to drive data driven decisions.

  • Experience in workshop facilitation and senior leader coaching.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational communication, and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation
