Description
A well-established, prominent cardiology group in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks an
outstanding Interventional cardiologist to join our independently-owned, large single-specialty
cardiology group. The group consists of general, interventional and EP cardiologists.
Excellent opportunity to join a long standing and respected group to grow and expand a
regionally recognized program. Large external referral base and affiliation with a mid-size,
community-based, state-of-the-art hospital. Must possess a strong work ethic and ability to
collaborate with colleagues to maintain and expand an existing successful program. Candidates
must have exemplary clinical and interpersonal skills, and exhibit the ability to work cohesively
with a team.
The ideal candidate will have completed a Cardiology Fellowship program in Interventional
Cardiology. Board Eligible/Certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology required.
Preference will be given to those with structural heart training and additional years of clinical
practice.
Major responsibilities include:
- Interventional Cardiovascular Procedures
- Inpatient consultation and hospital rounds
- Structural heart procedures including LAA closure and transcatheter aortic valve replacement
- In-patient and out-patient activities for general cardiology
- Night and weekend cardiology call
- STEMI call
- Practice expansion plan (establishment of satellite programs)
