Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or another related engineering discipline

Work Experiences:

  • 7+ years of experience on any or all Supply Chain and Logistics systems and/or solid experience in developing and/or implementing business applications for Retail Supply Chains
  • 7+ years of strong technical and implementation experience in one or more supply chain packaged solutions including but not limited to Manhattan, Korber, Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • 7+ years of experience around technical, functional configuration and customization/extension/modification on WMS, LM, TMS package solutions
  • 7+ years of solid experience in developing integration using tools and frameworks like SOAP and RESTFul web services, JMS asynchronous services, SMTP, (S)FTP, etc.,
  • 3+ years of experience working on integrations between WMS and MHE systems.
  • 3+ years of strong technical knowledge and experience with Dematic and /or Honeywell Intelligrated.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience setting up Printers using CUPS configuration.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience with configuring and troubleshooting Voice Console and VoCollect devices.
  • 2+ years of Solid experience in developing high performance and highly scalable applications.

Skills:

  • Technical skills related to WMS, TMS, and other supply chain domain-specific package solutions offered by Manhattan Associates, Korber, Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • RDBMS, SQL, Stored Procedures, Data Integrations, Scripting Languages, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external
  • Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytic skills with the ability to use key tools to dive deep and provide analysis consistently on performance metrics.
  • Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Should be proficient in drafting functional and technical design documentation.
  • Should be proficient in driving functional and technical workshops.
  • Should have excellent debugging skills and fixing issues within a short span of time with minimal support from leads.
  • Strong skills on, RDBMS, SQL, and Unix Shell Scripts
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Technology Subject Matter Expert by proactively acquiring knowledge as it relates to technology changes and advancements, conducting POC's, develop prototypes and reusable frameworks.
  • Coaching, Mentoring, and being the subject matter expert for software developers towards the entire software development life cycle.
  • Provide effort estimation for the unit of work/enhancements and help the technical Manager to prepare the roadmap of the project.
  • Understand the requirement and prepare a detailed design document based on the requirement specification and architecture guidelines.
  • Prepare and execute unit/system test scripts /scenarios to verify/validate business logic of new or enhancements.
  • Provide Level 3 support as needed for the MHE applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of identifying issues and resolving the issues quickly.
  • Follow and maintain deliverables that are consistent with defined architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with IT and business team members for implementation of enhancements and development work and support the business post-implementation.
  • Participate in planning sessions and involve actively Architectural and design reviews.
  • Plan, implement, test, and support complex package implementation and custom Software development solutions.
  • Establish software systems requirements, infrastructure, and the environment by analyzing software, access, and security requirements.
  • Perform troubleshooting of software systems and escalate application problems to vendors.
  • Design and run software system load/stress testing.
  • Upgrade and patch software systems by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
  • Provide effort estimation for the unit of work/enhancements and help the technical Manager prepare the roadmap of the project.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules.
  • Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks as assigned.
