Position Overview

The Head of Installation Services will oversee all aspects of the high-volume, fast-paced installation operations for 3 Day Blinds and its affiliated brands.  Success factors include delivering best-in-class customer experience, high-quality installations, and managing operational efficiencies and profitability.  The Head of Installation Services is a critical leader for the installation operations that continue to expand and evolve with business needs.  Duties include leading all field service activities to provide effective and on-time installation of window coverings as well as oversight and execution of warehouse, fleet, scheduling, installation, measuring and installation support business functions. This will include the combination of direct oversight of these functions as well as indirect through contractor partnerships.  The Head of Installation Services ability to lead and develop the teams, manage critical mass using effective business processes, leverage data and metrics to drive success, and use feedback to continuously improve are key factors for the position.

  • Build a robust leadership team balancing the need for immediate leadership and future succession with the department.
  • Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the department
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while providing expertise and guidance on deliverables
  • Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives
  • Ensures alignment and delivery of exceptional service and value as it relates to operational excellence
  • Manages P&L to profit goals
  • Strives for Customer Satisfaction excellence by achieving outstanding survey results – manage the business through the lens of the Customer, ensure the job is completed right the first time, and best practice methods are used to react to service failures when they rise.
  • Supports change management initiatives impacting the Company
  • Continuously evaluates and improves the operating procedures and workflows to increase efficiencies, customer satisfaction, and results.

  • Experience working in  home services.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Master's Degree preferred.
